Salary Currency: Tanzanian Shilling

Special consideration for needs of disabled interns will be made to the extent Plan has the capacity to facilitate a fruitful internship, security, health and safety of its interns.


Interns are not employees and there will be no contractual obligations between Plan and the intern. The intern agreement will be issued and sets out the terms of the relationship.


Internship is a learning opportunity that is closely monitored by HRD and respective supervisor. It provides Plan International Tanzania with the opportunity to benefit from professional knowledge and skills, and provides a student or recent graduate with a substantive and challenging work experience.


Interns will be attached to Plan Tanzania Country Office departments or Programs Units for a period ranging from 6 months to maximum period of 12 months.


During implementation, the intern will be responsible to the assigned supervisor who will provide the guidance on work ethics and ensure the assignments are conducted and completed in a professional manner.


Interns will comply with Plan’s policies, procedures and code of conduct

Essentials
Bachelor degree in any of the mentioned fields with Upper Second or First Class.

Desirable
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills appropriate to the audience
Proficient Computer skills and use of relevant accounting packages
Ability to work under harsh condition
Ability to work under multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
Good English language skills(oral /written )

Working environment will include both typical office environment and field environment.
